Membership of Hull CVS

The membership of Hull CVS is made up of voluntary and community organisations operating in the city of Hull. Members are entitled to nominate representatives to vote at our AGM and stand for election to our governing body. For more details, and to receive a membership application form, please complete the enquiry form below.

The role of Hull Community and Voluntary Services is to support the sustainable development of voluntary and community groups and volunteering in order to promote justice, equality and quality of life.

Membership of Hull CVS is open to voluntary, community and other benevolent and philanthropic organisations that benefit principally the people in and around Hull, and to our statutory partners.

As a member of Hull CVS, your organisation will be entitled to vote at our Annual General Meeting, which means your organisation will have a role in shaping the development of the city’s umbrella voluntary sector organisation.

Member organisations will have access to the members’ area on our web site, where they can use GrantNet.

Member organisations automatically receive CVS News bi-monthly and are included in other general mailings.

Member organisations are included on the CVS database of local organisations and are included (if they want) in the CVS Directory.

Membership is subject to the approval of the CVS board of Directors, and costs £10 per year which will be invoiced once membership is confirmed.

Download the CVS membership application form and return it to The Administrator at our Anlaby Road Office.
