Supporting Community Centres in Hull

The City’s community centres are valuable resources for local communities and organisations.  Community centres are host to a wide range of activities catering for all parts of the community; often they are the only public space in an area for the community to use.

Community centres play a key role in strengthening a local area, improving community interaction, networking and acting as a hub for activity.

The Community Centre Support Service, commissioned by Hull City Council provides an independent service to support Local Authority funded community centres in becoming more sustainable and to meet the needs of local communities.
