Active at 60 Small Grants Programme

The programme is the initiative of the Department for Work and Pensions. Hull Community and Voluntary Services (Hull CVS) has been chosen to deliver the Active at 60 Community Agent Small Grants Programme in Hull.
Grants of between £250 and £3,000 are available to local groups to develop community agents and prevent newly retired people from becoming socially isolated. The programme will focus on helping older people try new activities and understand the benefits they can get from being more active, engaged and contributing to their communities.

Eligibility
In order to be eligible to apply for a grant, applicants need to be able to answer YES to a number of questions; If you cannot answer YES to all of the questions on the checklist, and if you cannot send the documents listed, we will not be able to consider your application, please download the programme eligibility guidance.
Need Help or Advice?
In addition to the application guidance notes which should help you when completing your online application we are also holding Active at 60 drop-in sessions where Sarah Clinch (Funding Advice Worker) and Jayne Robinson (Grants Officer) will be available to help you to complete the application form.
