Grassroots Grants
The Grassroots Grants Scheme is now closed, all the funds have been allocated.
Grassroots Grants were funded by the Office of the Civil Society (formally the Office of the Third Sector). The small grants programme has awarded 155 grants totalling £392,883 to small voluntary and community groups meeting local needs across the city.
Groups received awards up to the value of £5,000 over the life of the programme. Activities ran between December 2008 and March 2011.
Evaluation on the impact of Grassroots Grants is now being undertaken.
We are delighted to say that through the Grassroots Grants programme we have distributed £292,883.07 across the city of Hull.
