Governance and Funding Assistance (GaFA) Guide
Our GaFA Guide provides key information for anyone who gives or needs Governance and Funding Support. The Guide covers the basics with interactive web links taking you right to the actual application form or resource you need.
A GaFA guide costs just £12 (£6 for Hull CVS members). You will be emailed a copy in PDF format.

Charity Builder UK is a free service to help groups with advice on HR and Health and Safety, and practical guides on insurance, governance and volunteering.
The Charity Commission registers and regulates charities. It also provides services and guidance to help charities run effectively.
Companies House provides information under the Companies Act and registers companies.
Community Matters provides support and advice to local community-led organisations.
The Directory of Social Change is an independent charity providing training and information for charities.
Get Legal is a free online reference and decision-making tool for charities, social enterprises and co-operative organisations, developed by NCVO, with support from Bates Wells and Braithwaite Solicitors.
National Council of Voluntary Organisations (NCVO)
NCVO provides advice and support to voluntary organisations on a variety of topics.
